I have been involved in photography since childhood. With the guidance of my father, an avid photographer, I learned the basics at an early age. I continued to educate myself, later building a darkroom at the age of 13. I experienced a renewed enthusiasm and appreciation for photography when I moved to Brazil in 1986. There, I worked to photograph this new world around me, capturing images that I still cherish today. My subject of choice is people. The bonds of a family pose or the intricacies of a child’s face are ever challenging and always rewarding. My knowledge is expanding as I continuously work with light and people.

Today, my focus remains true portraits that reflect the best we all have to offer.
